I hope you are all having a fantastic May so far ☀️ I took a week off of blogging to catch up with my life – Moving in is a big job! However I am happy to report everything has been going so well and I’m feeling fantastic. Here are some of the highlights from the last two weeks:
It’s official! I’m “adulting!” 😄 I officially moved into my dream condo on my own and have been loving the process of settling and hand-picking everything to go inside. I have tons to share and plan on creating more than a couple of videos on the process of my sanctuary coming together so watch out for them on YouTube. 😉
The sun came out last Sunday and I spent the day out-and-about with my friend Steph in the morning and Nicole in the afternoon ☀️ It was so great catching up with my friends and of course showing them my new place! This had been and has been the only day of solid sun since I arrived in Toronto so, please, send me all of your positive sunshine thoughts! I would love to manifest some! ☀️✨
My First Coaching Program!
This past week in my April Favourites video I launched my very first 3-month coaching program called Supercharged Summer! 😄🙌🏼 I can’t wait to get started. If Life Coaching is something you’re interested in and would like to work 1:1 with me, please don’t hesitate to reach out via email: email@example.com.
For the love of Plants!
My amazing friend and Herbalist, Manesha has introduced a whole new world to me – PLANTS! 🌿 I have become slightly obsessed, but can happily report I have some beautiful, abundant greens in my new abode 🏡 I’ve named them all and can’t wait to show you more!
I’ve been extra conscious about what I have been adding into my space, seeing as how I am furnishing a place from only living out of suitcases for the past 3 years 🧳 It’s been an exciting process full of research and learning, but I am happy to report I have a lot of eco-friendly introductions and swaps happening 🌱 Above is a root brush which is my dish scrubbie 💦 It works amazing and lasts a very long time! More to come.
I am back! If you haven’t checked in with me on YouTube or Instagram, I was away in Joshua Tree at a meditation retreat for 11 days – it was incredible! 🧘🏼♀️✨ More on the experience below:
Vipassana was an incredible experience for me. The 10 days I spent away in silence was truly life-changing in the most positive way. If you haven’t caught my latest YouTube video I talk more about what the experience brought me in terms of self-awareness. I am grateful to have attended in one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, Joshua Tree (Southern California) 🌵☀️ Waking up each day in the desert amongst the bloom was one of the most memorable experiences I have ever had with nature 🙏🏼🌿 I am so grateful for the gift of my life and how many beautiful experiences I have had so far. I left beaming (and still am) with excitement of what the future holds…
Coffee Shops & Cuddles
This is Roba. I fell in love with her at a coffee shop in San Diego this past week ❤️ She is actually a rescue! Gabby and I spent this morning at Hawthorn Coffee working away. There’s just something about coffee shops with good vibes and good company that make for a perfect day… Simplicity is bliss.
Hiking Blooming Canyons
How beautiful is the Spring bloom? ☀️ I am so lucky to have experiences it in both San Diego and the desert 🌼🌵 Our world is such a beautiful place. Consider this is your reminder to get outside in nature this week (if you can!) and if not, at least find a good park to eat lunch in or go for a gratitude walk. It will do wonders for you!
It was sad to say goodbye to Gabby and her roommates this week 😔 I always have the greatest times with all of them! 💛 If I hadn’t signed a lease in Toronto I probably would have missed my flight and moved in with them… Seriously. I am so lucky to have such amazing friends from all over the world. Here’s to more adventures together all over the globe!
And so it begins… My next chapter in Toronto. Where will it lead? To ABUNDANCE of course!!! 😃 I am feeling very optimistic and excited to share my life with you as it unfolds. Any predictions?
I hope you’re having an amazing day. I have so great highlights to share with you from Vancouver to sunny San Diego ☀️ So, let’s get started! 😉
Every time I go to VanCity I always have the best time with the girls 😊 Catching up on life, enjoying delicious food and getting outside in the fresh air 🏔 it’s never a dull moment ✨
HOLA SAN DIEGO!
I arrived in San Diego on Monday and it’s been the time of my life. There’s just something about being surrounded by great people under that Cali sunshine 😄 Basically this photo with my sister Gabby sums it up! Infinite laughter and life chats 💛 If you’re looking for a giggle you can check out our Instagram highlights!
Blading Along the Beach
This has been my favourite place to rollarblade, EVER! ☀️ Colomba and I have been rollerblading from Mission Beach all the way to La Jolla almost every day 🌴 The views and the fresh, ocean air have been incredible. What a feeling!
This week I went thrifting for the first time in many years! 👖 You can actually check out the experience on Liz’s vlog 🎥 The girls helped me find some amazing summer finds, including this awesome vintage Levi’s skirt. I feel Summer-ready now 😎☀️
The aku Acupressure Mat
This week I received my first ever Acupressure mat! I had previously used the aku ball for my hands (it has been amazing for my poor circulation) so I had been curious about the mat. As it turns out the benefits have been incredible. As someone who deals with poor circulation, Scoliosis and Restless Leg Syndrome I can say that the Acupressure Mat has helped me find a better balance within my body. I have also been using it to meditate on to prepare for Vipassana! 🧘🏼♀️ There is a lot to be said about Acupressure (different from the invasive acupuncture), but the one thing I can pass onto you is that if you are looking to heal tension within the body and challenge your mind at the same time – this is your magic tool. Learn more about Aku and their products here. If you like anything, enjoy 15% off with “Zoey” upon checkout 😊🙌🏼 #HealHarder
Special thanks to aku for sponsoring this blog post. Learn more about the aku products by visiting their website or following them on social media. Don’t forget you have a 15% off discount with the code “Zoey” 😊
I am so grateful to tell you it has truly been a life-changing week ❤️ Let’s get started:
Life Coaching Weekend
As I mentioned last week I began my life coaching certification program on Friday. After completing the 30 hour weekend I feel like a new person 😊🙏🏼 I can’t wait to work with more and more people to change their lives. If you are interested in life-coaching I am currently taking on new clients and would love to hear from you! For serious inquiries on stepping up to the plate for a radical life change send me an email: Zoey.Arielle.Vlogs@gmail.com.
I landed my DREAM Apartment
I have been riding on a serious high. I am beyond thrilled to tell you I managed to manifest my dream apartment in Toronto 😊✨ I can’t wait to show it to you and of course film tons of amazing content there! Everything is falling into place so beautifully.
Ignite Your Light
This past week I was featured on my amazing friend Riley’s Podcast “Ignite Your Light.” This was a wonderful interview and I am so grateful to have been featured on her platform 😊 The interview was on the topics of organically growing your audience, staying authentic and landing and managing sponsorships 👩🏼💻 Click here to check it out on iTunes or Spotify.
Five Crowns & Coffee
I spent a couple days of quality time with the family this week. I had some great times with my Bedstemor playing our favourite card game Five Crowns and enjoying morning coffee together 👵🏻👱🏼♀️☕️
Sister Time with Jenn!
I had some short, but always so sweet time with Jenn this week. You guys have definitely met her before 😊 (and you will again soon in an upcoming episode of Zoey’s Diary). Jenn is sunshine in the human form and we always have the best of times talking about life and being silly together 👯♀️ Can’t wait to see her again soon!
From Vancouver to Toronto, here are the highlights from an incredible week 😊
I had so much fun on Friday night in Vancouver reuniting with my cousins. We all checked into the River Rock Casino Resort and headed to the Canucks Game 🏒 Although they lost we had so much fun 😄 endless laughter with these ones always!
Happy 90th Birthday Bedstemor!
This past weekend was my Bedstemor’s 90th Birthday celebration! She was born on St. Patrick’s Day 🍀 My heart is incredibly full after spending so much quality family time with my loved ones! Above is Bedstemor and all of her granddaughters 😊
Full Moon Ritual With Mane
On Wednesday Manesha and I celebrated the full moon together with a healing and inspiring ritual. I am truly grateful to have such an incredible woman in my life who I can call a soul sister 💛 Manesha has so many powerful healing gifts to share with this world (you can follow her journey on Instagram here) and I am so grateful she shares them with me! From yoga to reiki to herbal remedies to straight-up bomb advice on every subject, she is sunshine in the human form. ☀️
Fresh Cut, Fantastic Stylist
Tory has been cutting my hair since I first moved to Toronto 6 years ago (wow!) She is the only person I let touch my hair with scissors! ✂️ She is not only incredibly at her job, but she is such a beautiful person inside and out and always brightens my day! ✨ If you’re looking for a stylist in the 6 she’s your woman! 🤩 You can find her at Medulla & Co on Queen West and on Instagram here.
Today (Friday) I officially began the in-person training portion of my life coaching course and I couldn’t be more thrilled 😄 I feel more aligned than ever and am looking forward to all of the positive changes this course and life over the next 6 months has to offer. 🙏🏼
I hope you’ve all had a fantastic week! Here are my updates from Canada 😊
What better way to get over jet-lag than to visit the Spa? 😛 Meika (my stepmom) and I planned a fun day of visiting the Rock & Gem show, a sushi lunch, facials at the spa and spontaneously, we added an Italian dinner to the mix! 🇮🇹 It was the perfect day and full of lots of quality time. If you ever find yourself on Vancouver Island the Tigh Na Mara is one of the best spas – be sure to get the “Illuminating Facial,” you won’t be disappointed. 🧖🏼♀️
Meika and I went for a hike on Sunday to a beautiful lookout over my hometown 🏔 There was a lot of snow up the mountain so this made for an event greater adventure than we planned for 😝but overall it was a great day, full of fresh air and views.
This week we are celebrating two very special birthdays in my family 🥳 It is my Dad’s birthday and also my Bedstemor’s 90th Birthday! This weekend we are heading over to Vancouver as a family (18 of us!) for a fun weekend. To check out the highlights, follow me on Instagram!
On Wednesday my Dad and I went skiing up Mount Washington to celebrate his birthday! 🥳 The conditions were incredible ☀️ I’ve been coming up this mountain since I was a little girl – it’s where I originally learned to ski and snowboard ⛷ I’ve missed skiing so much so I’m glad we made time for this!
I am truly grateful to have settled back into my original home for the past week. It’s been a breath of fresh air, literally 😛The transition of moving from Rome back to Canada has gone smoother than expected. I’m feeling very excited about what is to come! I’ll of course keep you updated. 😉
I hope you’re all having an amazing day 😘 This week was full of life-changing events! Let’s get into the highlights:
Mexican food and good friends – what more could you want from life!? 🤩 Anastasiya and I had the pleasure of checking out Rodelio‘s newest creation: Mezcaleria Callejon. This did not disappoint! If you are in Rome and happen to be craving Mexican food – this is your place! PS. There’s a speakeasy downstairs 😉
A day with Gaia!
Gaia and I had an incredible day checking out Colosseo! ☀️ Gaia runs the Instagram account @supporting_zoey – which was my first ever fan account! 💛 We had the perfect day – sunshine, gelato & Colosseo! 🍦 My mind is always blown by this incredible place – Have you ever seen the Colosseum in person?
If you’re looking for a good night out in Rome check out Alcazar in Trastevere for live music 🎶 We had a great time celebrating my last hoo-rah (for now) in la città eterna, and what a fun night it was! 👯♀️
I said Goodbye to Rome…
Yes, it is true. I had to say goodbye to my beloved Roma. However, all I have been feeling is an intense gratitude for all that has come of these past few years. Incredible experiences and amazing friends – I feel truly blessed 🥰 Have you seen my Good-bye Italy video?
I made is Home
I made it home to Vancouver Island! 💙 I am so excited for this next chapter and to spend some quality time with my family over the next week. I have missed them so much!
I hope you’ve had an incredible week! Can you believe it’s already March? 💛 Here are my highlights from Roma:
Fregene for Lunch!
Last weekend Emilio, Sofie and I went to Fregene for lunch 😊 Fregene is a small town near Fiumicino (still in the Roma region). We had a wonderful, long, Italian lunch together at Rosario and basked in all that delicious vitamin D we have been having! ☀️
How gorgeous is this view? I don’t think I’ve ever seen the Colosseum from above with my own eyes! This photo was taken from the Victor Emmanuel monument at Piazza Venezia – OR the big white building, the typewriter, or the wedding cake 😜 This view is not to be missed! Especially for sunset if you have the chance.
Tira un po’ di vento
Roma threw some wind at us this week, but she was kind enough to keep the sunshine 😊☀️ Elyssa and I went sunset hunting and had an incredible time – filming, climbing, apritivo-ing and dining with Rodelio! I’m so grateful for these times and these people 🙏🏼❤️
Cin Cin Pierluigi
Sof and I grabbed Negronis together on Thursday night at Pierluigi. The ambiance was beautiful and we had such inspirational conversations ✨ These are the nights and the friendships that fuel you 🙏🏼
I’m going through some intense reflections right now, all on the positive side, but it has had me feeling quite overwhelmed… An emotional rollarcoaster if you will 🎢 🤪. Roma and Italy have done so much for me. My heart is incredibly full of gratitude for the past couple of years and I can’t believe I’ve been so lucky to live out my dreams… Enough emotional rambles though, stay tuned for Wednesday’s video.
I hope you have all had an amazing week 😊 Here are my highlights from Lazio ☀️
Back on my Blades!
Sunshine in the city meant perfect weather for rollar-blading ☀️ The lungotevere had been cleared of the mud that was left behind after the rain flooded the paths, so I was happy to be back down there beside the water, blading around freely 🙌🏼
Winter Light in Rome
The Winter light in Rome, I believe, is perhaps the most beautiful. It is light and airy-looking and makes for the most beautiful photos 📸 We’ve been blessed with warm sunshine this week, which has the city feeling more like Spring, but Winter is still here saying her last good-byes.
On Thursday Elyssa and I took one of famous day trips, this time to Santa Marinella 🌴☀️ Santa Marinella is a small beach town an hour by train from Rome – I just love this little seaside town! I first visited SM in my first couple of weeks of moving to Rome. I went for a beach day in September with my first friends in Rome who were American students studying architecture. I remember laying on the beach looking up at the palm trees, swimming the sea, eating peaches from the market and just knowing this was about to be the most incredible chapter of my life… And so it was.
Adventures with Elyssa!
Elyssa and I always seem to manifest the most perfect days together – I believe this is because we never make a serious plan and we just go with the flow. I am so grateful for her. Stay tuned for upcoming videos on her channel as well as mine! 😊👌🏼
Freedom, Bliss, Peace & Excitement
I’m going through the motions… You’ll know why very soon. Overall these days my heart has been filled with so much gratitude it could burst. I have never been at such a beautiful peace within myself… I don’t really know what else to really say about this, but I guess the word is alignment. I feel aligned with my path more than I ever have before. It’s a beautiful thing 😊
Hi Friends! 😊
From Lazio & Tuscany here are the highlights from another incredible week in Italy:
All Smiles & Sunshine
Last Friday Lauren and I met up for gelati to discuss our weekend plans! She recently stumbled across the best vegan gelato in Rome – Wonderful Ice Cream – it’s made with rice milk and it is SO creamy! I was able to have my favourite flavour ever: pistachio. We enjoyed our ice cream in the sun and walked around bella Roma having inspirational life chats 😊
I spent Saturday to Monday in Lucca with Laur! We had such a great time hanging out in this adorable Airbnb, cooking food, talking all things abundance and we even recorded a podcast! You can listen here, I highly recommend it 😉✨ It’s all about my journey from Toronto to Rome – I felt so inspired re-listening to it… My heart feels so full knowing I brought my dream of Italy to fruition through my positive thinking and Law of Attraction.
When in Pisa… 😝 We spent an afternoon in Pisa as it is just a short train ride from Lucca. It was such a beautiful city, it definitely deserves at least a full day! I will be sharing it soon in a Travel Diary 😊 But for now you can check out my highlights on Instagram ☀️
On Wednesday night we attended an aperitivo/party at Le Meridien ✨ It was lots of fun, but mostly because I was surrounded by two of my favorite people Anastasiya & Elyssa ❤️ Sometimes it’s not about where you are, but who you are with.
A Wonderful New Friend
On Thursday I spent the afternoon showing my new friend Yvonne around Rome 😊 This photo is from Palazzo Venezia (a secret hidden gem). We had such a fun day exploring in the sun and had tons of inspiration talks all about life and of course la città eterna! 💛 I am so grateful for a beautiful new friend who shares the same love for Roma!
