Five Things Friday: September 7

Ciao Amici,

It’s been a beautiful week in Spain and back to Rome again โค๏ธ Here are my highlights:

Arriving in Ibiza

Our first night in Ibiza will go down in the history books for one of the top nights of 2018 โœจ We spent the evening on the rooftop of our penthouse dancing to our favourite music, laughing uncontrollably and of course admiring the stunning views (like the sunset pictured above). It was one of those nights that felt so surreal. I couldn’t believe I returned to this island one year later with a completely different – but same, life. SO much has changed and I am so incredibly grateful. ๐Ÿ’› The Universe is always creating for you.

Being of the Mediterranean Sun

There’s just something about being on an island in the Mediterranean Sea โ˜€๏ธ I feel so inspired under the European sun and I hope one day still I will be able to call this continent home without a visa ๐Ÿ’› This week I officially got my hard-copy Permesso – Italy, I got you babe, for another year ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

KYGO!

If you know me well you know that Kygo is my favourite DJ ๐Ÿ˜„ I have always wanted to see him at Ushuaia as this is where he has residency over the Summer โ˜€๏ธ I have officially tiked this off of my bucket list ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝย The night was incredible – so full of energy! Check out the highlights from this night on my Instagram Highlights ๐Ÿคฉ

Sisterhood

I already miss my little sis Gaby ๐Ÿ’› I always learn so much about life from her. She is truly sunshine in the human form โ˜€๏ธ We definitely did it up #Grande for the last hoo-rah of Summer ๐Ÿคฉ๐ŸŽ‰ I already can’t wait for all of the future adventures! We have made plans for our next meet-up! Any guesses where? ๐ŸŒด

And when you want something…

“And, when you want something, all the Universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”

The beginning of September means the beginning of my Patreon book club! Each month we will be reading a new book in the self-improvement category. Because September always feels like a fresh start to me I wanted to read The Alchemist once again โค๏ธ Paulo Coelho actually wrote The Alchemist in only 2 weeks! ๐Ÿ“š Can you believe it!? Come get inspired with us, join my community here!

Five Things Friday: Aug 24

Hi Friends!

I hope you all had an amazing week ๐Ÿ˜Š It’s been another beautiful one in Italy. Here are the highlights:

Helicopters & Khaled!

Last weekend our amazing friend Khaled from Jordan came to visit. We took a helicopter tour above beautiful Lazio! (You can see the adventure on my Instagram highlights). This was especially cool because we got to see Tivoli from above, one of the most magical places I have ever been! Perfect for manifesting big dreams ๐Ÿคฉโœจ

Negroni Infused Watermelon

Yup, you read that right. Last weekend we dined at the Michelin โญ๏ธ restaurant All’Oro and WOW, this meal will go down in history, not only due to it’s food, but it’s powerful conversation and wonderful people. The whole tasting menu I had was vegan – how amazing there are such options nowadays ๐Ÿค— There are no words for how delicious this meal was ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŒฟ

Friends in the City

This week I was so fortunate to have so many amazing people in the city! In addition to Khaled there was Sarah, Rafa and Jo! ๐Ÿ˜Š I met Sarah earlier this year in Paris and we clicked right away, she is truly a truly wonderful person. Full of ambition and natural beauty inside and out – you can find her YouTube channel here. Rafa and Jo were visiting Roma all the way from Chile! ๐ŸŒŽ The last time I saw Rafa was when I was backpacking Europe at age 20 ๐ŸŽ’ We had the most incredible time in Corfu, Greece and now we have even more memories from along the Lungotevere in Roma ๐Ÿ˜Šโœจ

Unstoppable Sis

This week my sister Anastasiya was there for me (as per usual) but sometimes we lean on our friends more than other times ๐Ÿ’› whether it be from working through my Italian to making me lemon tea while I fight off a cold ๐Ÿคง I am so grateful I have such an unstoppable, inspiring sis who is family to me ๐Ÿ‘ฏโ€โ™€๏ธ

Five Things Friday: August 3

Hi Friends!

From a beautiful weekend in Veneto all the way back to Lazio, here are the highlights:

#GrandeGoesVenice

How beautiful are these ladies? I am so grateful to have spent the weekend in Venice with such inspiring minds. Each one of us met online (on YouTube) and have now become such good friends โค๏ธ I’m so grateful for the abundance that has not only come out of this special weekend, but from each and every friendship I have with each of these girls.

Kia

I can’t believe how I manifested a friend like Kia into my life. Here goes a long-story-short: We became YouTube friends back in the days of 100 subs, we bonded over being vegan, then bonded even further about being girls with BIG dreams… We began Snapchatting each other to talk over seas and before I knew it Kia was here in Italy ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น 3 years later we have met up in Italy, Germany and Portugal ๐ŸŒŽ I am so blessed. Her entrepreneurship, authenticity, kindness and drive is some of the most inspirational I have ever come across in my lifetime. Thank you for being YOU, beautiful Kia ๐Ÿงก You can find here on Instagram here & on YouTube here.

Bellissimo Burano

Burano is #InstaHeaven ๐Ÿ“ธ full of canals and vibrant fishing houses. If you have plans to visit Venice, Burano is only 45 minutes away by Vaporetto (the boat/metro of Venice) and is TOTALLY worth it! ๐Ÿšค The vibes were calm and cool – a whole other world ๐Ÿค—โ˜€๏ธ

Green Juice & Rollarblades

I made two purchases this week for self-improvement and these were a Centrifuga and Rollarblades!! ๐Ÿ˜œ I’ve been feeling vibrant and energized thanks to the both of them. I feel like a kid, really and truly, it is so important to do FUN things! ๐Ÿคฉ To me rollerblading is so fun (and FUNNY!) and juicing allows me to feel creative each morning in a new way. You can find more highlights on both of these on my Instagram ๐Ÿ˜˜

Zoey’s Diary

Zoey’s Diary is back tomorrow and I couldn’t be more excited about it! ๐Ÿคฉ ๐Ÿ“บ I’ve been laughing harder and smiling more than I ever have, so I am ready to start documenting more of it – starting tomorrow with my beautiful sister Nanuchka (Anastasiya)Stay tuned ๐Ÿ˜

Five Things Friday: June 22

Ciao Amici!

I hope you’ve had a magical week ๐Ÿ˜Š From Tuscany to Corfu back to Lazio, here are the highlights:

FUN IN TUSCANY FAMILY

Last Summer I had the pleasure of collaborating with Fun in Tuscany on a Tuscany Travel Diary (wine tour) which was the time of my life! Little did I know I would meet some of the best people this life has to offer! The entire team at Fun in Tuscany are full of positive energy and inspirationย ๐Ÿ˜Šย A day spent with them is a day spent in pure sunshineย โ˜€๏ธ

Grazie Toscana

Tuscany is a magical place – if you’ve ever visited you will know. The rolling green hills, the beautifully painted landscapes and skies… I could go on. This day in Tuscany provoked a lot of reflection for me – how far I have come in a year, what next steps towards my goals will entail, etc. I am excited for the future and all of the gifts I know it will bring. Grazie Toscana ๐Ÿ˜Šโ˜€๏ธ

Back to Corfu

Last year while Jenn was visiting from Canada we visited the Greek Island of Corfu. Corfu is a popular tourist destination in Greece because of its beautiful green mountains and sandy beaches (if you’re a young adult it’s also known as a party island ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ˜œ). Jenn and I had a great time last year relaxing on the beach with Mythos and Greek snacks. When we visited One Fire beach on the Amalfi Coast Jenn and I were feeling extra-spontaneous so we decided to check out the Skyscanner app to see where we could go in Greece for the least amount of money. We ended up booking a trip to Corfu right then and there (flights & accommodation) for only 120 Euros ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ Adventures don’t have to be expensive. Here are my tips for booking a Eurotrip.

Kitten Cuddles

This is Gyro (pronounced yee-row). This is my little Corfu kitten ๐Ÿค—. On my last evening in Corfu I sat outside on the balcony stealing wifi to send some emails when this little angel came by to say hello. I named him Gyro (after my favourite beach snack ๐Ÿ˜‹) and played with him for the evening. The gentleman at the front desk came out to tell me that Gyro was actually disowned by his mother because he was the runt of the litter ๐Ÿ˜ฅ I instantly wanted to bring him back to Roma with me! The next morning I went out to the front balcony to see if he was still there and sure enough he was – charismatic as ever! (you can see in my Corfu Instagram Highlight ๐Ÿ˜ป). One of the women from the front desk came out when I was playing with him to tell me she was going to be adopting him and taking him home that evening ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ This is a reminder that we must always give love โค๏ธ To animals, to people, to nature. We never know what anyone’s story is so we should always choose to love.

It’s always sunny above the clouds

On my flight back to Rome from Corfu for the first time ever I had the very front seat of the plane, this meant LEG ROOM! And of course a clear, wing-less view outside of the window โ˜€๏ธ I had intended to work the entire flight; however the view captivated me so much I spent the entire flight in a kind of meditation – watching the clouds, reflecting on life… it was magic and just what I needed. I made the connection that it is always sunny above the clouds. It was clear that below us in the plane there were some dark clouds causing rain, however just above these clouds was the view above. This is how it is in life as well. We all must go through rain clouds at some points, but if we are strong enough and choose to rise above we will always be greeted with sunshine โ˜€๏ธ Wherever you are now don’t give up and remember to always seek the sunshine, it’s only ever just above your cloud.

xx Zo

Five Things Friday: June 15

Ciao Amici,

I hope you all had an amazing week! From the Amalfi Coast back to Roma here are the highlights:

There’s no place more infinite

As I mentioned last week: there is no place I feel more infinite than the Amalfi Coast. There is such an energy here. One that leaves you feeling breathless, yet full of inspiration. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt in tune with my creativity, but now I am aligning. ๐ŸŒบ

One Fire

I am most definitely a being of the sun โ˜€๏ธย Give me sun and I have TOO much energy!ย ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ”ฅ On Friday the girls and I headed to One Fire Beach in Praiano to spend the day soaking up the Vitamin D and catching up on each other’s lives (My sister Jenn arrived by the way!) This was a perfect day on the Amalfi Coast and I am so grateful to have spent it with my girls from Canada.

The Amalfi Coast Tour with BlueStar Positano

On Saturday we had the most amazing day cruising along the Amalfi Coast with BlueStar Positano. If you haven’t seen my Italian travel diaries, last Summer when I took the day trip to Capri I also went along with the tour company BlueStar Positano, you can find that travel diary here. This time around we did the coastal tour and were able to see the entire Amalfi Coast by boat from Positano to Maiori. Seeing the coast by boat is pure magic and something I consider a must-do when you visit the Amalfi Coast. Of course, seeing the views from the terraces and rooftops is breathtaking, but to see the coast from the water gives you an enchanting view within. So many beautifully covered homes are painted along the mountain sides, there are medieval looking watch towers, hidden beaches, grottos and candy umbrellas decorating the shorelines… there is so much magic to be seen and I can’t wait to share it with you in my upcoming Praiano travel diary ๐Ÿ˜Š Stay tuned! PS: Don’t forget to ask for Hermes as your captain – he was fantastic!

Embrace Your Body

This is going to be a bit more vulnerable, but it is something I shared with my Patreon communityย this week and I am going to share it with you now. If it can help at least one person it is always worth it. Here it goes: An ex of mine once told me I didn’t look good in shorts so I shouldn’t wear them. A young Zo (me) internalized this and for over 5 years I haven’t owned or worn a pair of shorts that weren’t strictly for the gym. Sometimes our limiting beliefs or “complexes” (as my girls recognized it as) are in our blindspots. We don’t see or recognize them so we continue to live life with chosen truths. But these truths aren’t true they are simply just words spoken that we then turn into a story. It is us who choose to believe this “story” as a certain truth. I know it sounds silly – shorts? How scary can shorts be? But to me they were. This week I challenge you to ask a friend if they can sense any limiting beliefs or complexes that seem out of your consciousness. Choose to recognize them, embrace them and then take action to step out of your comfort zone. I borrowed Sofie‘s shorts for a night out in Napoli on Sunday (thank you Sof ๐Ÿค—) and on Wednesday I went out in Roma and purchased a pair of shorts to call my own. I like shorts now, I own a pair of shorts now and now I am wearing a pair of shorts while I write you… And that is my new truthย ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผโ€๐Ÿ’ป

An Evening in Roma

It is so often that the most spontaneous nights turn out to be the best of nights! ๐Ÿ’ซย After a rooftop Aperitivo at Rinascente the Canadian crew (above) headed to Hostaria Romana for a delicious Italian dinner! We laughed and chatted all evening long and winded up somehow taking large vodka shots? ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‹ It was tons of fun and certainly a night to remember with some of my favourite people in my favourite city. Grazie mille amici!

xx Zo

Five Things Friday: June 8

Hi Friends,

Today I am writing you from the Amalfi Coast in Italy! ๐Ÿ˜ One of my very favourite places in the world. It has been an amazing week in the eternal city and on the coast so here are the highlights:

Cruising into the Sunset

On Friday night Rodelio was in town! He manifested a beautiful luxury convertible and picked us up for dinner in it! ๐Ÿคฉ What an exciting surprise. We were all smiles and you can see more on my Instagram highlights. We cruised around Roma, up to Gianicolo and absorbed all of the golden light and views. After that was dinner at his restaurant “Me Geisha” – I’ve shown this stunning restaurant off in a previous video, you can check it out here. The night was full of conversations all about the greatest mystery and blessing of life. ๐Ÿ’ซ

New Views

Trust Romewise to take you to the most epic rooftops of Rome – Elyssa sure knows her stuff! When it comes to memorable last minute get-togethers this Aperitivo has bumped it’s way to the top of my list. This beautiful view of the city and the Pantheon can be found at the The Pantheon Iconic Hotel in Rome. I know I will return here for another Aperitivo (or two ๐Ÿ˜‹) this Summer โ˜€๏ธ

VICTORY

First of all, how scary is this building!? Thankfully my appointment for my Permesso and VISA extension wasn’t that scary thanks to Sof! ๐Ÿ˜Š Sofie took me to my appointment on Monday morning to help me with my documents and translation, I don’t know what I would have done without her and I am so grateful.ย  I am staying in Italy ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡นย  I have paid tuition for the next year of Italian classes so I have been able to extend my student visa ๐Ÿ˜„๐ŸŽ‰

BC’s Finest

LOOK WHO IT IS!!! On Wednesday I was so lucky to have Alicia and Mikaela arrive from British Columbia. These two girls have been my best friends since University times and they never cease to amaze me! Having them here feels like home isn’t so far away. Thank you for your amazing friendship that lasts through years and miles ๐Ÿ’› Can’t wait for all of the adventures that await us here in Italia!ย ๐Ÿ˜Š

Costiera Amalfitana

There is no place in the world I feel more infinite than the Amalfi Coast. There’s just something so magical about this special part of Italy… maybe it’s because this is where I fell in love with Italy to a whole new level last year, so much so – I decided to do whatever I could to stay. And this is what I have done. Italia ti amo e spero che tu ami anche me. โค๏ธ

xx Zo

PS: if you didn’t know last week I mentioned I launched a fundraising campaign to support BILLION BABY TURTLES. There is merchandise available in the form of shirts and totes and if merch isn’t your thing there is a GoFundMe page ๐Ÿค— $1 can save up to 5 hatchlings!๐Ÿข Get involved!

Five Things Friday: May 11

Happy Friday Friends! ๐Ÿ˜Š

From Jordan to Italy it’s been an amazing week. Here are my highlights:

A Magical Day with New Friends

My last full day in Amman, Jordan was pure magic (I mean the whole trip was magic, but it’s like the Universe didn’t want me to forget it!). Photographed above is Khaled, Hiba, myself and Anastasiya, we had an unforgettable breakfast at Shams el Balad. The kindness of everyone I met in Jordan will stay with me forever and I can’t wait to go back and visit. After breakfast we visited our friends at Travel One and then went to Hana Hassan’s home for a wonderful and very magical surprise – BUT you’ll have to wait for my travel diaries to find out more ๐Ÿ˜‰

Downtown Amman

Amman has a vibe and a #grande one ๐Ÿคฉ I love everything about this city – the ancient ruins, the people, the white houses, the call to prayer, the markets, the fresh sugar cane juice, the palm trees, the spices, the smells – I could go on, but I think you get the point! โ˜บ๏ธ I am so grateful to have been able to be in a place where I consistently found myself immersed in the now. Nowhere else, but right there wandering through the streets with my friends in downtown Amman. What is this life ๐Ÿ˜ฎ? Something truly wonderful. ๐Ÿ˜Šโœจ

Blinkist Book of the Month: Daring Greatly

What does vulnerability mean to you? To me vulnerability has given me confidence, meaningful friendships and the ability to connect with my audience. In the past however, vulnerability was terrifying (although, at times it still is)… it’s sort of like jumping out of a plane (even though I haven’t done that yet ๐Ÿ˜‹). I see working up to the jump like figuring out the words you need to speak to be set free, jumping is being brave enough to take action and the free-falling is the relief you feel from speaking your truth and setting yourself free…

I have chosen to highlight this book because as we are about to break into the new season of Summer next month I think everyone could benefit a little by taking more responsibility for their lives. Some ways to do this include: speaking your truth, striving for authenticity and sharing your thoughts in moments you may normally find yourself shy. Brene’s book has inspired me to do this. Set yourself free from whatever holds you back; it’s empowering. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Have you read or listened to Daring Greatly? I think you should. ๐Ÿ“š

Thank you to my friends at Blinkist for sponsoring this blog post. It’s applications like this that not only allow me to grow personally, but also allow me to continue to share my knowledge and inspiration with you – and it’s your lucky day because they have a deal for you! Get a FREE 7 Day Trial by clicking HERE.

Buon Compleanno Anastasiya!

On Monday, May 7th we celebrated my beautiful soul sister Anastasiya’s birthday at Hotel de Russie. We had a wonderful lunch in the garden full of great conversations with great people ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŒธ What more could you want from life?

New Hair!

I’ve had this specific change on my mind for a long time… but if you’ve been following me you know I have trust issues when it comes to my hair! Luckily the famous Massimo from Noi here in Roma came highly recommend. He chopped off a lot more than planned, but I think he’s earned my trust! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ What do you think? ๐Ÿ˜‹

Five Things Friday: May 4

Ciao Friends!

Hello from Jordan this Friday. It has been an amazing week exploring this beautiful country. Here are my highlights:

Discovering Ancient Roman Ruins in Jerash

I love it when I can find little pieces of Rome scattered amongst the world – wether it be in Verona, Umm Qays or here in Jerash I never get tired of seeing what the Romans were capable of so long ago. It feels as if I am putting together pieces of their exciting, yet mysterious lives… Personally, I think they had the help of aliens ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ‘ฝ… But regardless, they were so incredibly intelligent. What are your favourite Roman ruins? Is there somewhere else I need to visit?

A Night on Mars

On Sunday night we stayed in the Martian tents in the Wadi Rum Desert. This was such an amazing experience – from the sights –ย  to the vibes – to the kindness of the people, this was an unforgettable experience. We spent the afternoon and evening 4x4ing through the desert, then finding a place to watch the sunset. In the evening we had a Zarp feast which means that the food cooked on a rack in the ground for 4 hours (these were the best potatoes and carrots of my life, but don’t tell my Dad). Once the stars began to come out we stargazed through a giant telescope and were able to see the moon (much more clearly of course), Jupiter, Polaris and some clusters of stars. It was incredible.

Petra

The week started off great exploring Petra. The photo above gives you a glimpse through The Siq at The Treasury. Seeing The Treasury in person was truly stunning – it glowed just as you can see in the picture. I cannot wait to share this travel diary with you. For more from Petra and my time in Jordan so far, don’t miss out on my Instagram Highlights!

Rest & Relaxation at The Dead Sea

Now THIS is the order you need to plan your trip to Jordan – Dead Sea POST Petra because let me tell you how much walking, hiking and climbing (24KM) around Petra takes a toll on you (even for someone who visits the gym regularity) ๐Ÿ˜œ On another note, this trip has allowed for a lot of time living in the now. Being able to spend some time resting and relaxing has allowed me to reflect on my life and what I wish to change about myself and my life moving forward. Every day grants us a new beginning so it is important for us to allow ourselves to grow and reach new levels each day ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Tea in a Bedouin Tent

There is so much happiness in the simplicity. This morning I was lucky enough to experience tea with a local-to-Feynan Bedouin family in their tent ๐ŸŒฟ The family has been living this way for over 100 years; in a tent within the mountains of Wadi Feynan. We were welcomed so warm-heartedly on our walk-by ๐Ÿ’› We spent the morning drinking tea with them and learning (as best as we could) about their lifestyle. These are the kind of moments that bring so much joy to my heart I felt and still feel as though it could burst. I will treat you to a couple extra photos this week just because these moments were so special to me:

Ali, my new friend and behind us, his grandmother

Ali’s toy car, made out of a sardine can, nails and bottle caps

The view from their home

I hope you find beauty and happiness within “the simple things” this week.

xx Zo

Five Things Friday: April 20

Ciao Friends!

Today I am writing you from Bellissima Roma! The sun is out and expected to hit 27 degrees today โ˜€๏ธ I couldn’t be happier about it! Here’s how this past week has gone:

Bravissima!

Do you guys SEE that!? BRAVISSIMA! So many of you have been asking how school is going and that pretty much sums it up. I am having the best time learning Italian, it is a sparkling highlight in each dayย ๐Ÿ˜Š I have an amazing teacher who I have been practicing one-on-one with three times per week. Piano, piano… soon I will be where I want to be, but as you know we must all enjoy the journey ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ

Parco degli Acquedotti

On Friday evening I had the pleasure of watching the sun go down at Parco degli Aquedotti (Aqueduct Park) ๐ŸŒ This park is part of the Appian Way and it is absolutely beautiful. My mind is consistently blown with what the Romans were able to accomplish. As you can see primavera is most definitely here! The greenery is so lush – I remember looking at it and thinking it was so vibrant it didn’t even look real. ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŒฟ

Shooting with Gioielli Dop

This Monday Sof and I had a #Grande time shooting for Gioielli Dop Jewelry here in Roma! โค๏ธ I am so excited to share the finished photos with you all because they were so much fun to create! ๐Ÿ˜„ We shot in some of my favourite places around Rome, including La Casetta di Monti, which is a cafe covered in green ivy. You can find more behind the scenes images and videos on my Instagram highlights.

The Glow of Possibilities

It was supposed to rain all week, but Mother Nature or Mama Roma changed her mind… there is nothing more beautiful than the glow of the Roman sun. If you know me well then you know I am a being of the sun – When the sun is out I have endless energy to share ๐Ÿ˜Š This has been the case this week and it has attracted multiple opportunities to me, opening up my realm of possibilities โœจ The future is unclear, but it is unclear because I have a lot of bubbles surrounding me… ๐Ÿ˜‰

I Have Been Learning A Lot

As I have been expressing to you over the past few weeks I have been facing consistent challenges (which I am incredibly grateful for) ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ Never in my life thus far have I ever found myself transforming so rapidly and learning more and more each day. I can’t say it’s “easy” or necessarily “preferable” but in hindsight these bumps in the road are allowing me to become stronger each day. It feels like I am a butterfly in a cocoon or a handful of clay on a pottery wheel. The Universe is preparing me for something… Things are spinning and changing so rapidly I have no choice but to keep up. There’s no quitting here, there’s no backing down there is only perseverance. I am forever grateful.

xx Zo

Five Things Friday: March 16

Ciao Amici!

Today I am writing you from bella Roma! I hope your week has been fantastic ๐Ÿ™‚ here are some of my highlights:

Blogger Lunch @ Clotilde

On Friday a few of us Blogger-gals were invited for a lunch at Clotilde. This was a very special Lunch because Saskia from Blog Ciao Tutti was in town from Amsterdam. It was so great to finally meet her because I had heard so many wonderful things! ๐Ÿ˜Š We all enjoyed a wonderful lunch filled with delicious food and deep glasses of red wine ๐Ÿท I just love getting together with like-minded people to discuss all things Italy! For more on this special lunch and last weekend you can check out my Zoey’s Diary 27: First Weekend in the New Apartment! โœจ

A Gatsby Night Out

On Monday night Anastasiya and I attended the launch of Zeglu (zero-gluten alternatives ๐Ÿ). Food is a very important subject here in Italy (as you can imagine ๐Ÿ˜‰) so of course this even was #Grande! The woman in the photo above was walking around on stilts and we had a wonderfully entertaining opera show! The whole event felt right out of The Great Gatsby (minus Leo, where was he??). The vlog will be up early next week so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for it ๐Ÿ‘€โœจ

New Offices

This week I was lucky enough to find not only one new coffee shop which suits my working needs, but TWO! ๐Ÿ˜ Both of which carry vegan treats! ๐Ÿฅ I feel like the luckiest girl in the world ๐Ÿ€. Even though I adore my new apartment, sometimes I need an alternative working space to keep things interesting and productive (not to mention the upload speed at my place is a little non-existent ๐Ÿ˜…).ย By the way, I have changed my YouTube upload schedule to: Monday, Wednesday and Friday @ 11:00 AM CET for Spring and Summer… with the occasional surprise upload on Sunday ๐Ÿ˜‰ hint hint!

Roman Sunshine

The SUN came out this week. Not just that, “Oh, it’s sunny,” it was that, “OMG-TODAY-FEELS-LIKE-SUMMER SUN!!!” โ˜€๏ธ Maybe I’m getting a little ahead of myself, but it definitely felt like primavera this week (which is “Spring” ๐ŸŒท in Italian). Anastasiya and I took full advantage by planning a fun golden hour photoshoot ๐Ÿ˜Šโœจ

Manifestation Walks

This week I had a couple amazing manifestation walks – if you don’t know what I mean by that you can check out this video. I can’t wait to share the story of how we manifested our apartment with all of you, because it really feels like magic! โœจ I can’t believe I get to walk outside my door into my old desktop wallpapers each day ๐Ÿ˜ Sometimes when you’re feeling lack all it takes is a little stroll, a ray of sunshine and the sight of some fresh flowers (it’s all about the little things). No one knows what tomorrow brings, next week or even next year. All we have is right now.ย Take the time to feel grateful for all you have in this life, and all you have had the opportunity to experience. Bask in THAT abundance… ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’›
